When am I first charged?

After your free month. Nothing is taken during the trial, and the date it ends is shown in your billing settings from the day you start. If you cancel before then you are never charged at all.

Which currency will I pay in?

Your own. The prices above are shown in the currency of the country you are browsing from — pounds, Australian dollars or US dollars — and that is the currency you are charged in. Nothing is converted at checkout, so the figure you read here is the figure you pay. Tax is added at checkout according to where your clinic is.

What counts as a therapist?

Anyone with their own login to your clinic. Your own account is included in the clinic price, so a solo practitioner pays the base price and nothing more. You can add and remove therapists whenever your team changes, and during your free month you can add the whole team to try it properly.

Is there a limit on clients, dogs or recordings?

No. There are no per-client fees, no cap on the dogs on your books, and no limit on how much you record. We do ask you to record the parts of a session that matter rather than all of it, which the app explains in context — it makes for better notes as well as a smaller bill for us.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your billing settings. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your records stay yours to read and export. See our refund policy for what happens to a payment already taken.

Who actually takes the payment?

Paddle, who are the merchant of record and the seller for the transaction. They handle the payment, the tax and the receipt, which is why their name appears on your statement rather than ours. Steadely never sees or stores your card details.
